casting :)

today I write about the course I enjoyed this semester that is the complementary of casting. in this workshop we make mould for reproduce objects.

in the studio we learn different techniques to replicate our work, one of that I like more is the mould of silicone, with this we can use different materials like polyester resin, cement, gypsum and other.
i like this class because we can explore around how to establish one strategy to work, how to design the mould and after remove the copy.
other material i learn use is the glass fibre with that we can replace the gypsum to reforce other material more delicate like the silicone. as well as permit make copys more light and hard

I work now to transform a virgin of gypsum to the pagan statuette. This is a new god to light a candle.

HI again everyone!

Today i talk about Antonio García villarán. He is a critical of art, really he is a youtuber but he comments relating to understand how art soo awfull can come to fill the gallery and the museum, that doesnt have  nothing more than to be in a positive place, with positive people.
Antonio García Villarán write a book entitled "el arte de no tener talento revolucion Hamparte" in this book He makes a manifest to define how art is defined how art is not and establish the concept "hampart". that is a practice to become rich as a seller of litter as art. really he uploads the video about hampart and there explains categories to recognise one artist work  and one hampartist work.

Hi! today i share a photograph, this is related with my day

one friend  lent me this book to help me with one work to the class, i went to photocopy and when have my copy i forget the original book in the class room, there someone took it and i lost the book

well now im so worried for the situation!

 

today all day, i searched for it in the center of the city and nobody has it! 

i came to the center in bike and in the road i got a flat tire !!  i must walk so much to reach to my home, repair the bike and come to the road again ride to the my amazing english class! i love that!

 

this monday was hard and tiring to me

now i search in the web site the book and my friend ask for his book. i dont know ho do with the problem!

roses and bread

hi again!!

well today im going to talk to you about the film called Bread And Roses.

i think too bad about the film, why? i feel the film is like a satire, this has some scenes that are too forced and fictional, for example when the janitors go to the street and resist to the police.
the story is hard and ugly but the film shows the actions of janitors soft and funny.

my favorite caracter is Rosa, well she is more authentic more human and ordinary she feels the immigrant life and the violent world, with silence and resignation, for her family in another country and the new family. And of course the most best scene is when Rosa tells her sister why is a snitch and in spite of that she is not a traitor.

my career

HI! i again.

 well today i speak about my decision studying studio art . well i dont know but my interest around the visuality from the object and the feeling we can have with that came to make me decide.
Of course my dad spoken too much about the university and all about as the adult life need one paper that says i, i ,i have have have a paper from the university.
well when he noticed i study studio art , dad fell silent.

when i was a child i made all the time toys for play amazing stories that came to my head. my fabrications were made with foam, cardboard, plastic and too much things

I love when I went to the street market to look for treasure and buy pices for my inventions.

i love the little objects and for that i decided to study silversmith until now, my experience in the faculty art is so uncertain, but is all we have, this country hates the art and its artists.

my other choice to studey would be the tourism as all in my town.

all time i was think i become  a puppet master, and talk stories now my dream is make a little school of art and trade.

HI! you other people! I'm agustin araya carrera.

this is my first blog and is for my english class level three. i'm so bad at writing in this language.

 i was born in "los morros" santiago de Chile, in the begining i lived with my mom and 2 sisters and lived a long time together, after my father and i moved to a little town in cajon del maipo that is called san alfonso, i studied four towns down the road, in "el manzano" and my school was called andino antuquelen.
I started working in "cascada de las animas" when i was 13 years old, i loved my job! i was a walking guide and went to the hill with gringos and tourists. in this place i learned to do many jobs and sports, one of those i loved is  rafting.

after my dad and i went apart i came back to santiago city, i was 20 years old and started studying in university of chile in 2015.

back then i started living in my first house, it was so big and downtown, that was called "la palomera" there i lived for four years and i lived so many experiences. One friend told me about the house " that is a laboratory of art, we had rooms for everything, theater, painting and music! that was a underground life.

now i live in another house with the "precisos" and all together are a little tribe in santiago city.

I love the steel work in forge and all associated with silversmith and fire.
